Raw salted caramel tart

I thought i would share my recipe with you all as so many people ask for this. It is so much healthier then your usual Salted Caramel tart and has no added sugar. At one point i would make one of these every week and me and Mark would have a piece a day. Hope you enjoy and let me know how yours turns out.

Base:

120g Oats

120g ground almonds

60g Dates

50g Walnuts

3 Tablespoons coconut oil

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

Caramel:

300g Dates

120g Peanut butter

4 Tablespoons Coconut oil

4 Tablespoons Water

Topping:

150g 85% Chocolate

Method:

Mix all your Base ingredients in a food processor. When reached a crumb like texture add to base of your spring-form cake tin. Press down evenly.

Mix all your caramel ingredients in the food processor for about 5 minutes. When smooth and to a caramel texture press down evenly over the base.

Melt the chocolate in a bain marie and pour on top of caramel layer. Chill in the fridge till chocolate has set.

Enjoy with a cup of tea.

Must be kept in fridge.

    I’ve been obsessed with making raw desserts lately! I find them so much easier to make too so defo going to be giving this a go – thanks 🙂 x
